In the Classroom

The classroom is set up for the children to explore and play independently. The lead guide gives one on one lessons with children throughout the morning work cycle. The children who are not in a lesson are choosing their own activities and working independently. The work they choose on their own are activities that they have already had a lesson on and are practicing. We are a classroom community and this space is the children’s. We use the classroom space together and take care of the environment and each other each and every day.

As the children move through the classroom and become the leaders of the room they get to be the helpers and role models for the new younger children coming into the classroom. These children also stepping up in their work. We see extended day children working in small groups with friends and engaging in longer more challenging work. During this time they get introduced to more complex lessons in math and language.

Snack and Lunch

We provide and AM snack for all children during the 8:30-11 timeframe. PM snack is provided during childcare only. Parents will provide lunch every day and a water bottle. We refrigerate lunch and we can microwave anything that needs to be reheated. 

Tuition

Full Day Montessori - 8:30-3:00 ………… $1000/month

Childcare Add On - 3-6pm………… $100/month
